Just when you thought it couldn't get any more fabulous, my husband made me my very own site with a blog. He imported everything over to that one. The only thing that's missing is for YOU to get over to that one and see my new style! The link is:

A couple of ideas

I have an idea for a major post brewing on the back burner. I just need a time when I'm not so busy. And I'm giving myself a chance to put my thoughts together and let them gel a bit. So, keep coming back because dessert is about to be served!

I'm ECSTATIC!

The best news, probably, all year came yesterday. You know how I've been waiting to hear back from McCarty talent agency about representation, right? Well, I found out that I got accepted! See? I'm on my way to becoming a movie star already! I went in today to drop off 10 copies of my headshot stapled to my resume and one of the agents said he may even have an audition for me on Friday! Unfortunately we'll be in Cali on vacation but oh well. There will be plenty of other opportunities. I was doing the happy dance all day and let me tell you, it's exhausting! Right now I just want to relax and enjoy my success. Dreams really do come true. I've been working with my husband and others (and myself) on positive affirmations and how speaking in the present (I AM a movie star, as opposed to I wish I were a movie star or someday I'll be one) actually helps make it become true because your subconscious believes what you say and you begin acting/thinking/speaking like one. Positive energy attracts more positive energy and what you put out comes back to you. All that jazz. So suddenly my life has become extremely exciting and busy. Like a whirlwind. Wish me luck. Oh, and if y'all are still interested in helpin' with my social experimint and all, let me just add some photos here instead of on my new website, which will need to be postponed for heaven-knows how long. Again, just rank em' in order of most attractive to least attractive (1=most, 5=least)and I'll be labelin 'em a,b,c,d and lil ole e. Any additional comments/explanations will be most helpful.

And the Verdict is In

Howdy pard'ners! I thought it would be fun to conduct my own social experiment right her and now on my blog. Whaday'all say? Are you ready to make history with me? Right now it appears that the people who read my blog are those who already know me. If I give you a selection of 4 or 5 pics of me, would you be willing to honestly rank them in order of best-looking to least-looking for me? I surely would appreciate it, y'all. Any and all comments about each photo will also give me feedback about another's perspective on my lovely ol' visage. Now, I know some of y'all may be thinkin to y'allselves, "This gal's done sold the farm! She thinks she's the most pea-pickin', sweetie pie darlin'in all Dixie." I got to admit that this all does seem kinda narcissistic and all. Thinkin that y'all just sit around all day, sippin' your sweet tea on the veranda, just a waitin' for me to post something for your lil ol hearts to devour. Trust me, ladies and fellas, I'd be willin to do the same for y'all. I just thought I'da put myself out there an' vollunteer to go first, so to speak. And just as sure as the dewdrops collect on the ripe Georgia peaches in Ole Miss in the mornin', I will say that I'ma just tryin to gather some feedback from those who do actually have acquaintance with me, ruther than askin ol' heartless strangers. But don't be misunderstandin me now, I do want honest, candid opinions here. I find that the best responses are those first impressions, first thing that enters yer mind, right? Those tend to be instinctive and spot-on. So, y'all up for a beauty contest here? I thought so. Let the games begin!
